Are you looking for a recipe for Easy Crock Pot Pork Chops? These bone-in pork chops are a regular at my house. Such a  great weeknight dinner that is so simple to throw together.

There is just something about pork chops in the crock pot. I can remember mom making a version of this when I was growing up. I have always loved the flavor of mushrooms with a slow cooked pork chop– yum!

You can serve this simple main over rice or mashed potatoes OR all on its own with your favorite sides and veggies.

Now, I also love to add cooking sherry as my liquid when I use mushrooms, but if you don’t like it or don’t have any, chicken broth will work just fine. I also use two cans of mushrooms because we LOVE us some mushrooms, BUT you can use just one can if you aren’t quite the mushroom nuts we are ๐Ÿ˜‰ Ya know, my hubs says he is a fun-gi… maybe that is why I like him so much ( ba-domp-ching ๐Ÿ˜‰ ). I prefer to use bone-in chops for this recipe, but you can use boneless, you just may have to adjust your cooking time.

Slow Cooker Recommendations

I love the non-stick surface of this slow cooker  for recipes like this, however, any 5-6qt slow cooker will work just fine.

    1. What else would go well instead of mushrooms (and/or the cream of mushroom soup)? Everyone in my family hates them, but the recipe appeals to me because it’s simple (not a lot of ingredients) and not horribly unhealthy.

  1. Very tasty! A suggestion; if you don’t have the Sherry on hand, use (beef or chicken broth)and can add a packet of (onion soup mix)stir into soup and broth, then follow directions ๐Ÿ™‚
