How to Make Easy Smothered Pork in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
This Easy Crock Pot Smothered Pork recipe is a favorite around my house. The pork is melt in your mouth tender. Then there is the delicious sauce that goes well with the pork and the rice. My 12 year old loves the added crunch of the French fried onions on top. It is just an all around good meal that is flavorful and filling.
This is a great recipe for anyone new to cooking or for anyone who is looking for an easy recipe. The pork chops and celery are super easy to cut up, and the rest is just stir, dump and go. Then you just prepare your favorite rice as usual right before your smothered pork is done. If you don’t have a favorite rice, I highly recommend trying basmati. It is our favorite around here.
