I am back again with one of my favorite tried and true recipes, as well as a reader favorite recipe. This Cheddar Crock Pot Chili Mac, in my opinion, is one of the best chili macs I have ever had. What You Will Need for Cheddar Crock Pot Chili Mac

Ingredients Needed

  • 1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
  • 1 cup uncooked macaroni, cooked al dente
  • 15 oz can mild chili beans, undrained
  • 10.5 oz can diced tomatoes with green chiles, drained
  • 1.5 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, plus additional shredded cheddar cheese or garnish, if desired

  • Prep Time: 12 minutes
  • Cooking Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours on low or 1 to 1.5 hours on high, turning your insert halfway through your cooking

  • Mix together 1 lb lean ground beef (browned and drained), 1 cup uncooked macaroni (cooked al dente and drained), 15 oz can mild chili beans (undrained), 10.5 oz can diced tomatoes with green chiles (drained), 1.5 teaspoon chili powder and 1 teaspoon garlic salt in a mixing bowl until well combined.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in a lightly greased 2.5 Quart Small Casserole Crock Pot or 4 Quart Slow Cooker.
  • Sprinkle 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese evenly across the top.
  • Cover and cook on low for 1.5-2 hours or high for 1-1.5 hours, turning your insert halfway through if your slow cooker does not cook evenly.
  • If desired, top each serving with Shredded Cheddar Cheese.
